Los sistemas de sensores thicknessGAUGE se utilizan para la medición de espesor precisa de materiales en cintas y láminas de hasta 50 mm. Varios modelos con diferentes tipos de sensores, rangos y anchos de medición permiten la medición de espesor en línea de diferentes materiales y superficies con una relación calidad-precio inigualable.

El sistema completamente montado consta de un bastidor robusto en el que se fijan dos sensores ópticos de distancia. Estos miden el espesor del objeto de medición mediante el principio diferencial. Los sensores quedan alineados mecánicamente entre sí tras el montaje. Una calibración de espesor de fábrica permite una medición de espesor de alta precisión.

Thickness measurement with high precision

thicknessGAUGE sensor systems are used in industrial environments for precise thickness measurements of strip and plate materials. A linear unit with electromechanical drive enables thickness measurements in traversing mode. Alternatively, fixed track measurements are possible for center-line measurements (center thickness) or for thickness measurements on the edges.

Automatic calibration & temperature compensation

thicknessGAUGE systems are equipped with in-situ calibration in order to compensate, e.g., for the effects of fluctuating temperatures. The calibration cycles are individually adjustable. In addition to temperature compensation, in-situ calibration enables proper functioning of the system to be verified cyclically and at any time.
