More possibilities for industrial 3D evaluation

Mehr Möglichkeiten für die industrielle 3D-Auswertung

3DInspect 3.1 is a new version of Micro-Epsilon's uniform and user-friendly software solution for 3D sensors. The software supports reflectCONTROL RCS, surfaceCONTROL 3D, scanCONTROL 30xx/8x00 and the 3D Profile Unit with GenICam/GigE Vision interface. Users benefit from numerous enhancements for measurement, data preprocessing, visualization and automated evaluation.

New 2D and 3D measurement programs
Version 3.1 expands the range of functions with numerous new measurement and preprocessing programs. These include additional 3D measurement programs such as "Planarity," "Sphericality" and "Hole Extraction," as well as new 2D functions such as "Straightness 2D". New programs are also available for generating and merging point clouds, for subsampling, and for various masking and filter functions for 2D images. This enables measurement data to be prepared, analyzed and used for demanding inspection tasks in an even more targeted way.

Greater flexibility in sensor integration and evaluation
A particular focus is on expanded support for modern sensor solutions. 3DInspect 3.1 now supports scanCONTROL 8x00 SMART laser scanners in 2D and 3D mode, including a setup wizard. For reflectCONTROL and surfaceCONTROL, "2D-View" is now available as a new data format, enabling amplitude, curvature and basic intensity images to be evaluated with image processing programs. This opens up additional possibilities for evaluating complex surfaces and geometries.

Optimized workflow for efficient measurement tasks
Various measurement programs can be executed faster in 3DInspect 3.1, supporting more efficient implementation of industrial 3D measurement tasks. Numerous additional improvements make day-to-day work with the software easier: observation mode has been expanded; multiple data formats per measurement can now be saved automatically, and 3D measurements can be terminated early for supported sensors. An improved structure of the data preprocessing programs, optimized 2D and 3D displays and various usability improvements also provide greater clarity throughout the workflow.
